The people have spoken and apparently I'm to be veiled. I know it's my wedding and I can do what I want (blah blah blah) but I was actually asking a legitimate question. I have no real anti-veil feelings, I just mainly didn't want to be bothered with what is essentially an oversized hair clip. I did consider the tiara thing, especially since we're going to actually have a castle in our wedding pictures, but ultimately I just don't think I can do it. They're sort of distracting in pictures and not quite as timeless as I'm hoping the whole look will be.
So, it turns out that when it comes to veils, there's a whole truckload of choices. I've gone through the styles and I've narrowed it down to something like this:

Ok, I don't actually know what this veil looks like, but I like her hair and her earrings and her dress looks like mine, so if I have to take this tiny picture to someone and say, "this is what I want", I'll do that. Although that raises the other issue...I just found out that veils are a hundred dollars or something insane like that. I don't mean to totally be cheap, but isn't tulle about 4 dollars a yard? Guess who's going to be playing with some hair clips and a hot glue gun...
Yay, the costumer Carly still lives on!!!
