I hadn't put a whole lot of thought into the flowers thing when I saw these up for sale. I figured I was going to use silk flowers because the flowers aren't that important to me and they're so (SO) expensive. I know that there's a real/silk flowers debate going on in the wedding world, and I fall squarely on the side of silk. It's true that up close they don't usually look quite as nice and they don't smell as nice and you'll always *know* that the flowers were fake even if they look real in the pictures. But, since Disney currently charges $325 for the bouquet I want and $300/each for the bridesmaids bouquet that I want, I'm fine having paid $150 for all of the flowers we'll need!
I got an extraordinary deal on these flowers because another Disney bride purchased them, changed her mind about the real/silk idea, and then had trouble selling them after she committed to buying real flowers. Luckily, her flowers are white and Cinderella blue, which is perfect (especially now that they will probably be the only blue in the ceremony). For $150 I got:
- 1 bridal bouquet
- 1 toss bouquet
- 5 bridesmaid bouquets
- 9 boutonnieres
- 6 corsages
- 5 bags of flower petals
We are going to have to redo some of them. We need more boutonnieres, fewer bridesmaid bouquets, and so on and so forth. I don't think it will be that tough, though. As it is, 9 boutonnieres is enough for Kyle and his groomsmen, so I could take my bridesman boutennieres in a totally different direction...haven't decided. But aren't they lovely? It feels so good to have one more thing off our list!

BTW - I think this is the SMARTEST thing you did! You can also save your bouquet for the kids! You didn't have to worry about them wilting, and you got exactly what you wanted for a great price. This makes so much sense! Besides - the only reason flowers were used were because the bride hadn't bathed in months anyway and they kept the smell at bay!
